saturday at springville



this was a complete expirement with palette. i really like how it turned out and i think i am improving.An artist there told me,regarding the size, that every piece of art i do i should give it my all as if it were to be hung in the louvre. i think it is sound advice.

i reshot this image if you happened to see this before, hopefully things will be clearer. if they aren't then i probably need to work longer on it (the montage, not the blog entry). this was an assignment for perry stewart's illustrative media and techniques class. i haven't decided if it is done or not, i may add some text.
